My name is Carol Ann. I am South African and have lived in France with
my little boy Sebastian, for four years.

I have always loved working with dried flowers. Spring and Summer
here in rural France offers a wealth of material for gathering and
drying, but I was unable to source other materials such as Silica Gel
that I needed to pursue my hobby all year round. After much trial and
error I have been able to find products I like working with, and
because I have a registered business here in France, I am able to buy
from wholesalers and manufacturers. The wooden trugs for example
are made locally.

I started my French site silicasec.com on the basis that, one can't
always find exactly what one's looking for on one's doorstep, and am
now able to offer these products for sale in the U.K. from
silicasec.co.uk.
